I have 9500 miles on my 99f150 and the alignment is a little off in the front. I thought the warrenty was for 3 years or 36000 miles? Mine is 13 months old so...?

I spoke to my dealer about getting it aligned he said that he has never seen one out of alignment in the 12000 miles " i laughed at him" they also said that htye have never replaced the cam's for aligment. I went to another dealer he said no problem, if you run the torseion bars up about a half inch to level the truck it will cause negative camber and they will have to put the cams in. They will only put in one side if that is all that is needed. Ford should have put them in in the first place.

I have spoken with my the service manager at my dealership (friend of mine). From what I gathered from the conversation, suspension is not an exact art, and the suspension on any given truck can "settle" differently during the first 6-8k miles. So, I get the feeling that most trucks do not need the adjustable camber, and by offering it if the truck needs it during the 12/12 period, Ford probably saves money in the long run. What this says to me is to do all my suspension mods (or at least some) before I hit 12000 so that I can have these put in for free...
