Superchips

I just recieved my Troyer Superchip. (01Screw, Cat Back duals, Afe Intake, 4:56 gears, 34" tires) and man what a difference!!

I'm really pleased I spent the $$'s. I was looking at superchips.com and noticed that the 1715 performance mode can be used to tow. As long as your not over 4000LBS, anybody know if this is true or even ok to do. I currently have the tow mode installed because I do tow 2 Sleds on an open trailer (approx 500lbs per sled) also tow junk to the dump from foreclosed homes, rarley over 500 lbs

Not to be rude but if you ask this over in the Computer chips section you will get the attention of Mike Troyer himself. Check out their site and click on the 1715.

It shows a chart of what it can tow. The Performance setting indicates no towing
over 4000 lbs. If you want to tow over that weight use the tow tuning.

I'm sure the 4.56 gears made a world of a difference alone.

Yes the 4:56 make a big difference, espically turning large rubber. I highly suggest a gear change to anybody running oversized rubber.
