I have a 04 screw, when i go to start off when it is cold,it sounds like the hubs are grinding,the faster i go the louder the noise.I put it in 4x4 and the noise stops , take it out and the noise comes back.after 3 or 4 times it works fine. anyone else have this problem ?

 

How often do you run your truck in 4wd? If you don't periodically run your truck in 4wd, you will have problems with the system sticking or not working. If that's not it, then I don't know.
