rear change out

My first time here but I have been reading some thoughts on 3.55 vs 3.73. I have both. The 3.55 is in my F150 04 and the 3.73 is in my wifes Lincoln Blackwood.
We resently purchased a fith wheel and I have been pondering changing the two rear gears out to provide the extra power the 3.73 would give the F150.
Anyone know how and where to go to verify that this operation can be done?

3.55 to 3.73 is such a small step, I wouldn't do it on my own vehicles. Too much labor for the almost no results you would obtain. Presently I have a Ranger with 8.8", 3.73 and F-150 with 3.55.
