Clicking

I need some help on this one.

When I am driving under about 20 mph I am hearing a clicking sound coming from the back of my truck under the bed somewhere. It gets louder as I slow down. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

Thanks

Well its kinda hard to give a better answer with no info about your truck. As general things to start checking out do the following. Check the ujoints on the driveshaft for any play or excessive heat. Check the tires for any rocks in the tread; check the brakes for worn pads, calipers, rotors, etc. My first guess might be a ujoint or something worn out in your brakes.

Word of advice in the future. When asking for tech help you'll get faster help by posting what model (ie F150, Expedition, etc), year, and equipment (ie 4x4, auto, etc) is on your truck. This way you won't have to wait until you come back to give more info in a case like this since there were differences between different years and makes that may change an answer.

IT sounds louder but clicks more when I am slowing down. It dosen't do it all the time either only when it wants to. I have checked for rocks in the tread and I can't see anything. I have pulled the back tires off and can see anything visable wrong with it.
