I have a 98 F150 4X4 Ext cab 5.4 Just bought it 3 weeks ago.

sticker says it has a H9 rear end. That is a Limited Slip Differential 3:55 I belive?

How is this as far as towing and gas millage?? I have been getting 14's for mpg.

I have a boat total weight 5200 # and a camper 6500 # I have not towed eaither yet. How will it tow this stuff? Came with a tow package but the orig. owner never towed anything.

Thanks guys!! I no these questions should have been asked before I bought not after

Yes, H9 = LS 3.55. That is the best rear end you could get in your truck from the factory for towing. You did good considering your questions came after the fact. Even better that you have the Class III, as it adds a few more perks. Your mileage is normal and towing your toys will be fine.
