Lubing the chassis
Lubing the chassis
The owners hardly mentions lubing the chassis at all.
Then my trusty Haynes manual showed upper and lower ball joints, amongst other things. But when I got under the truck, I found only two grease fittings, both for part of the steering link. They were both on the passenger side.
Is there anything else that needs grease? Or am I just blind?
TIA.

one suggestion, haynes sucks, get a chilton.and there are 2 grease fittings on the idler arm if you haven't found em.it kinda helps out with front end play you might have to turn the wheel to get to the top fitting
I bought a needle for my grease gun so I could shoot some grease inside the rubber boots. Some of my rubber boots did not feel like they had much grease in them after 4 years...
