Noob interested in 4.10 gears

I've got a new '04 (Heritage) F150, 4.2L, 5-sp and 3.55 gears. I would prefer lower gearing as I don't spend much time on the slab.

I would like to have 4.10 gears installed in the rear end but have questions:

Can a Ford dealership do this?

Would my warrenty be affected if my Ford dealership performed the work?

I don't have a LS diff; would having this installed as well raise the labor cost significantly?

TIA,

Sean

Welcome ! Yes, they can do it. They should warrant it if you use all Ford parts. You would need to buy Ford Performance Products gears. When you change the gears, you remove the differential to exchange ring gears. It takes little more than bolting the new ring gear to your NEW LS differential. They have to install the ABS toner ring and press on carrier bearings. The labor should be minimal, but you will have the additional differential cost.
