f150 hub

f150 hub

I have a problem a with the hub engageing.I have had it all out and everything seems to be ok. could it be the spring. ford have been no help at all,this hub was only used for this model and they have no spares and no after market rep.
any info would be appreciated

It sounds to me like the auto hubs are acting up. The autos that came on trucks of that age are junk. They don't usually last very long. Best way to fix the problem is to throw them away. Get a set of Warn manual hubs. I don't have the PN here in front of me so you'll have to go to Warn's website.

If I could have found a new kit I would have fixed them up because I don,t do much off road work usually just to get out of my yard in the wet season I will look into the warn hubs now.
