4-wheel Drive Anomaly
4-wheel Drive Anomaly
Hey..
I have a new F350 that is driving me nuts with 4-wheel drive problems. First problem I had was a bad noise from the front when rolling, which ended up being fixed by replacing the front hubs as Ford claimed they were constantly locking/unlocking while rolling.
Now.. I have a problem that many times, the 4-wheel high/low will not engage (at least for sure not the indication on the console), but when I engage in 4-wheel high going slow (~10 mph), then when I make a slow turn it feels as though the front differential does not want to rotate. It puts so much friction on the front rotation, that the back tires want to break loose to keep the truck rolling forward.
Anybody have a clue as to what a truck with less < 2000 miles could have wrong with it that Ford isn't finding.
Best Regards,
