I use the steps to help me in cleaning the back window and the fiberglass tonneau.
you can also sit on them too. The curve in the bed makes a nice back rest.

I've noticed a similarity between our trucks and "their" trucks as well, I wonder why they went to yellow turn signals.
I think Chevy is trying to subtle in the changes to their boxy truck but went over board on the stepside bed. The curved lines and indentions are too much compared to the rest of the truck.

I use mine for washing and/or waxing the lid. Cna't reach the middle! Also good for reaching the middle of the slider.

I was too cheap to buy a flareside so when I really need to get into the back of my styleside I just find a flareside to park next to and...

 

I also use mine to wash the back window, tie things down and reach the stuff in the middle. This bed was made for short guys like me. Although I bought for the looks not function. And of course I use it as a BEER holder, one on each side.....It's a big truck!!!

Hey Guys,

I barely use mine either. I have the ARE lid too, but I use a car brush to wash with that has an extendable handle. Only way I can reach the top of the cab and middle of the bed cover. However, I stand on the cooler for waxing and cleaning the window.
