Chrome covers for 9.75 and Sterling

I just got my Summit Truck Style catalog and they now list chrome covers for the 9.75 and Sterling rear diffs. Maybe you guys have seen them before but it's the first time I've seen just chrome covers and not the fancy $200.00 ones. The 9.75 lists for $31.95 and the Sterling is $39.95. Comes with bolts and their made by TD Performance Products.

One bad thing about chrome covers...They retain heat more than any other type of cover, pan, or anything else. They also most likely do not offer an increase in fluid capacity, and if this is true of that brand, it will only aggrivate the heat problem. Now is this detrimental?? Probably will never be an issue, but something to think about when there are alot of quality diff covers out there (Mag-Hytec being the best, IMO) that are aluminum (which facilitates cooling) and look just as good (IMO) and most likely increase fluid capacity. But they do cost more than $31.95...

Galaxy, you're right about the extra fluid capacity. They do not advertise that they are any larger than stock.
