Question 2003 Heritage Edition

I have just ordered a 2003 Heritage Edition today and was wondering if the site managers would consider adding a separate section for discussion on them alone, like the Harley / KingRanch / Lightning ?
I think there is enough differences in them to require their own section, interest will grow when people get a look at them.

How should I go about getting it set up?

How many here agree?

Thanks ,, 4rdfan

I guess there aren't too many that come to this section of the boards.

I will pass on my opinion on this one, even though it doesn't make any difference.
I took a look at what the Heritage Edition has. It is a nice truck. I don't however think it qualifies for it's own section. It appears to be an appearance/convience package. My STX does not qualify for the same reason.
I'm really not quite sure why the King Ranch get's it's own section. I guess the webmaster would have to answer that.
I think Fors has many variations of the F150 now and it would be hard to represent them all.
If the webmaster decides the the Heritage Edition is worthy of it's own section, could he please consider a section for the STX. It looks like it will be back for '03.

4rd fan, good luck. Do you plan on posting some pics? I think there might be a few who aren't aware og the Heritage Edition.
Wether you have a section for your truck of not I hope that you spend some time here and chat with your fellow F150 enthusiasts.

Did anyone else notice that the old truck beside it is:

1) flareside
2) regular cab
3) bench seat
4) no AC, power windows or power locks
5) most likely 2wd
6) wheel covers, not aluminum rims
7) monotone paint

so what exactly makes the new truck a "heritage" vehicle?

your right. i think they definately should have made it a flareside for the classic look, and maybe a grille that resembles the old one. but the truck looks awsome!

I think the Heritage looks pretty good too. I think I'm still too young to drive a truck that looks like that. I'm still into the sporty look.

Drum437, To the best of my knowlege the STX is an add on to the XLT, which gives color keyed bumpers and mirrors, different grille, the 17" (ORP) wheels and Good Year street tires (sorry I can't remember which ones at the moment). It is supposed to give a 4X2 the aggressive look of a 4X4. That was for the '98. I believe that there will also be an STX for '03 (if I read correctly) which will be a 4X4. STX is just a sport appearance group.

That's a snazzy truck...but I think that it sould be available with a Flareside bed. Afterall, that was the only bed available back in "the day."
