Hello everyone! i noticed that this was an F150 Forum, google gave me a couple post that showed other people asking for help on their escape so i decided to give it a try. I recently bought a 2008 ford escape. About 2 days ago i was getting off of the express way and i was at the red light. My dash board turned on a bunch of lights, my fuel and hot cool temp gauge fell. i FREAKED OUT. That just today coming home from work, i turned on my car and i was on park. The same thing happened. Then again while i was driving. Im pretty sure no car is suppose to do that. If you guys can help me find out what this problem is, i would really appreciate it! if not, well thank you anyways for your help.

 

Have your battery tested. Sounds as if it is getting weak. If it is over 3 years old, I would consider changing it out regardless. Current vehicles require a fully charged battery to function.

 

I went to both autozone and advanced auto parts to test the battery. Both stores said that the battery is good. The car didnt want to start. I sat there in the seat turning the key, reinserting, turning the key for a good minute and nothing. After a bit it finally turned on. Anyone else?
