2004 Mercury Mountaineer Security Code

Hello all, before i go to extremes and tear a vehicle apart, i am trying to locate where the 5 digit security code is located. my dad just bought this last week and of course the card in the dash is not there. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It should be on a label on the Body Control Module or BCM. Don't know where the BCM is located on that vehicle but I bet it is behind a kick panel or under the dash near the steering wheel. May be called the Body Security Module as well.

Good find. Thanks. That makes sense that it would be in a place like that. They have extra space behind those panels.

Thanks guys, got the code yesterday. took all of about 2 minutes, didn't have to go to the extremes of pulling the panel, just pull the weatherstrip back and pull the panel back far enough to see the white sticker.
