Drove the daughter's 2006 Explorer tonight for about 5 minutes in town. Suddenly it chugged then stalled. Started right back up but had no power when I stepped on the gas. I coasted back through town. Any ideas. She won't let me use her vehicle again anytime soon. Puzzled. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

 

Thanks. That was my first thought, however I don't have that kind of luck.It turned out to be a throttle body sending unit and I'm now $355 lighter but it runs like new. Hope this helps someone else and thanks for the advice.
