transmission probs A4LD in a RANGER
My Cousin has a 86 Ranger Supercab 4x4 w/the 2.9 and the A4LD auto. It only works in reverse only NO forward gears.
I was thinking it was the torque converter or the valve body or the solonoid. The fluid does not leak or smell burnt and it is not low on fluid.Any thoughts? We are having great diffaculty finding a good used transmission.
