Does anyone have any info on these as far as what type of issues these had and what to look for.

I'm looking at a 03 250 w/ 75k on her and she seems to have low power and a sort of shutter at idle. The exhaust smells incredibly rich and the fuel gauge did drop when I went on a 30 mile test drive. I'm somewhat familiar with it's history and know that it's been to the garage several times for a serious mis. The check engine light is on and when I was driving it it would start to flash and then go back to staying on. Any ideas?

Couple other minor things with it that I imagine I can tackle myself. Neither one of the locks work on the cab doors. The key goes in but does not turn. A couple of the doors hinges seem to be damn near froze as it takes two hands to pull the door open. Other than that the van is in good shape.

Has a mis on cyl. #5 & 6. Guess I'll start w/the obvious and tune her up. See what happens.
