havin issues with my brothers truck, its a 89 2.3 4x4 ranger and the issue started after trying to do a starter interlock bypass. think some wires got arc'd not sure.
truck will fire up and idle as long as the clutch is depressed. if you use a turn signal it kills the truck, release clutch and it dies, give it gas or put er in gear and it dies.

any clues? suggestions to check? the clutch switch has been replaced.

 

well truck seems to run with a new 'puter. think that was it!
