family mustang

i was thinking of buying a 2007/8 mustang for my wife. does anybody know a forum as good as this one for the pony? any tips on what to pay attention to?

Looks like your buying a brand new car......... You should pay attention to color choices, as well as drive train choices (V8, auto, 5speed, etc).

There has been issue with some, not all, Mustang's having trouble with filling them up with fuel. Poor design on the fuel tank/pump and filler neck. The vast majority of them seem fine, but there are some current ones with issues. I already have an older muustang, and this has been enough to make me not want a new one. Especially since I can't afford it when I have a Focus and F-150 payment.. lol

our last vacation in the states we spend on the west cost, traveling 3000mls with a v6 mustang convertible rental. besides the cheap plastic look of the dash we really liked it a lot. the way it drove and the great vibes and sound of the "small" v6 was impressive. after having allready issues with our f150 i donīt wanīt to have to deal with more trubble especially on a new vehicle. from what i read so far in the mustang forums they must (over all) be good cars with no typical problems. so i guess i give it a try
