The good folks at Ford Marketing and sales sent me out a E-mail, Visson quest...292 H/p 300/Tq. from all the new 4.6 3V Explorer. I'm going to drive one...all I need is a 8ft Utility trailer aborted from a 1/2 ton and I'm set...price is steap, but why do I need a truck for work, when I can haul with a trailer?..super cab and super crew fans, I'm on to something...no doubt a 06 explorer will out performe my 04 F-150, have more leg room...and I can keep my tools all warm and cudduly on those cold mornings...

IF Ford can muster 292 H/p from a 4.6 and close to 300 lbs of torque, and have a a tow ratting of 7000 LBS, this is close to spliting hairs with my useage of a F-150.

 

I like the new ones. I test drove one to compare with what I have now. Its like night and day! Very nice ride, very quite, not to big, but not small either, just perfact, and gas milage does pretty good for an SUV at 23 high way and 16 city I got while test driving one. Unless u really need a bed in a truck, this SUV is the way to go!
