the car is 97...I thought it might be a V6, I know ford built a 4v V6, but the tag on the rear truck lid, said 32V V8 Ntech engine...I wounder if the Mark 8 had this same engine...
It's basically the same as a Mark VIII engine, just turned lengthwise with a different oil pan on it. Cobras are six bolt mains, the Continental is a four bolt, and all Mark VIIIs were four bolts until '97 or '98 I think, towards the end of the model run. The Continental had the lowest rated horsepower out of all the 4.6 4Vs as well.
thanks....I found threw a serch engine the 32V 4.6 is rated at 280 HP...sucks that the car is a fwd...But I will take it out for test drive....I'm tired of driving my 04 F-150 every were I go...It's a wrk truck..I need a play car...
You won't want that as a play car. The "play car" mentality dies out when you find out it's about $1K a corner in parts alone to get the air suspension sitting level when it goes flat.
okay...I did not know the car had air suspension...It's 5000.00 cdn ( that would be my offer ) with a Ford rebuilt engine Body is mint, int Mint...I might just turn into a old Fart before my time..
