32 V V8 Ntech engine

97 Lincolin Contental..Considering buying with a Ford rebuilt engine...Saw this car today ( sunday ) at a Ford dealer...All I know abought this car is it is fwd...I never herad of 32v netech engine..is it a 4v per cy. 4.6 ?

The lincolin navs got a four valve 5.4L. The mustangs got a four valve 4.6L. All I know.

the car is 97...I thought it might be a V6, I know ford built a 4v V6, but the tag on the rear truck lid, said 32V V8 Ntech engine...I wounder if the Mark 8 had this same engine...

It's basically the same as a Mark VIII engine, just turned lengthwise with a different oil pan on it. Cobras are six bolt mains, the Continental is a four bolt, and all Mark VIIIs were four bolts until '97 or '98 I think, towards the end of the model run. The Continental had the lowest rated horsepower out of all the 4.6 4Vs as well.

thanks....I found threw a serch engine the 32V 4.6 is rated at 280 HP...sucks that the car is a fwd...But I will take it out for test drive....I'm tired of driving my 04 F-150 every were I go...It's a wrk truck..I need a play car...

You won't want that as a play car. The "play car" mentality dies out when you find out it's about $1K a corner in parts alone to get the air suspension sitting level when it goes flat.

okay...I did not know the car had air suspension...It's 5000.00 cdn ( that would be my offer ) with a Ford rebuilt engine Body is mint, int Mint...I might just turn into a old Fart before my time..

Just tread carefully. Air suspension that needs repairing is often why you'll see those cars going up for sale on the cheap.

Actually its ford intech 32v 260hp engine in that continental.
