For some reason the Ranger never caught on with the customizing crowd the way Chevy's S10 did. There are so many variations of that truck on the road it's unreal. The Ranger....not so much.

A full cabbed 4 door Ranger has existed in South America for several years. I can not say if it will eventually be built and sold in the U.S.

I just wish Ford would offer a V8 4x4 variant of the Sport Trac. Will the Adrenalin be 4x4?

I agree with a lot of the sentiments here...

I'd buy a 4 door RANGER, but not a Sport Track.. The bed is too small to be of much use..

Hmm.. A diesel powered 4 door Ranger...

Wonder how you get one out of Mexico....? Hmmm...

Courier...

Yup, a 'real' 4 door RANGER...

http://www.ford.com.mx/vehicles/vehi...sp?idModel=RAN

And then there's the Australian Falcon UTE

http://www.ford.com.au/range/falconute/models/

and check out the "Super Pursuit" (4 cam V-8!?)

http://www.fpv.com.au/

Australian "Courier" (check the turbo intercooled diesel option....)

Again, I hope if Ford is reading this.. We want some of these vehicles HERE!

Personally-- I'd love to see more small diesel offerings.. The four-door Ranger, the "UTE" and Pursuit.. C'mon, Ford.. You're already MAKING these vehicles.... Let us have 'em..

Man, that Super Pursuit is awesome!!! I cannot believe Ford won't sell that thing in the States!!!

If anything, introduce it for a year and see how sales are and if they don't sell, pull it!!

Problem with that is too much motor and not enough truck. When I was in high school I helped a friend of mine put a 383 stroker in a 92 S-10. That thing was dangerous fast, couldn't hold it in the road when you got on it and if it rained it had to be parked. This lasted about 2 months and we switched out to a stock 305. Whipples got a supercharger out for the 4.0 rangers, much more than that would be too much in my opinion.

I saw a SCREW Ranger at the Dallas Auto Show. Now, I wish I would have taken pictures of the damn thing. I wasn't impressed. I have never been impressed with Rangers - EVER.

I like my F150 better than those smaller trucks. The interior room of the F150 is a lot better in my opinion than the ranger and the sport-trac. Plus the Sport-Trac is too small and too expensive for what I need it for. I will just stick with my F150, Thank You.

We had a couple of 4-door Rangers in Qatar. They were nothing more than an super cab with doors. The Sport Trac's back seating area is twice as big.

Of course, the Sport Trac is nothing more than an over-priced Super Crew Ranger. With no 2006 Sport Tracs to be built, prices on the remaining 2005 models will remain high. The concept 2007 Sport Tracs look just like the new model F-150's. I bet they sell very well.

Yep, that's how it works. The F150 styling will make it's way through Ford's entire truck line. The Rangers days are numbered though, if Ford would redesign it to look like a smaller F150 the sales would jump. Alot of people like the F150, but don't want something so big. The Ranger could give the look without the size.
