Im about to get a 2.3 91 ranger short wheel base. Its a 5 speed i think. Anyway i was told the fuel gauge was broken and it has to be filled up when the trip odometer gets to 250 miles. So if its got a 20 gal tank that means its getting like 12mpg. I was hoping to get at least 400 miles a tank. since its a 4cyl and about as fast as a fat kid on a rascal scooter.

The check engine light has been coming on and off could this be related?


also audio related would i have a problem with the windows rolling down if i were to put in some 6x9's in the doors. I have some infinity refrence 6x9's i have and i want to put them to use.

Since the engine has 200k im guessing im treading thin ice. What are the chances of this thing blowing.
