Question need help...

Hey guys. I'm new to this site and had a question. I am about to buy a Ford f-150 but am looking for a ford that has the stepside or i think its called "flareside" that can be seen on a lightning as well. The F-150 is two door and has a short bed.
Does this truck have a different name or is it just the Ford F-150 Sport 2-door? Any input will be helpful! THANKS!!

Landon,

Cruise the photo galleries till you see the one you want, then look at the owners description, I believe any F-150 come in both styleside and flareside variations.

Landon,
You can visit Fords site also. It might help. Depending on the year you are talking about, different models are available. Here's a basic rundown.

The newer model of F-150's offer both Styleside (regular back) or the Flareside like what you are talking about. The only one that does not offer this is the Super Crew which is the 4 door model. It only has the sytleside.

F-150's have basically 3 options on motors. The most comon is the 4.6 liter V-8 however there is a V-6 and a 5.4 Liter V-8.

Here's the basic Models
XL - Regular Cab - 2 Door
XLT - Extended Cab with suicide doors
Super Crew - 4 full size doors

There are packages that can come on these such as Sport and Lariat depending on which model you have. These are basically upgraded packages from the factory.

The Lightning is a SVT vehicle or Special Vehicle Team. This of course is offered if one style and just different colors.

Licoln Blackwood is the Luxury truck made by Lincoln. Only a few were made. It's an awesome truck but also has an awesome price tag.

Well there's some basic information that I know. Maybe some others will help out also.
