Check the windshield seal. It may be loose.

This is a longshot but ......... maybe it's the rubber splashgaurd that runs from under the radiator to the bottom of the front bumper ?????????

Good luck.

I know what it is! Just follow these steps to find a cure.

* Get your mother-in-law
* Take your garden hose
* Strap it around her waist
* Tie her to the front of the truck (sorta like a grille guard)
* Run the ends of the hose to the inside of the truck
* Tie ends to door handles
* Drive down the freeway real fast
* Say "Mom, what's going on out there? Do you see anything??"
* Mom: "I'm freezing!!"
* You: "I'll let you back inside as soon as you find out where the noise is coming from..!"
* Problem solved!

I agree
I bet it is the weatherstrip on top of the windshield, it is a known problem.

Problem solved!!!!

While drivong to work here in buffalo i had some snow issues and did some sliding sideways to avoid an accident. While all this was happening the wind was at about 40-50 mph. The bug shield snapped off as did the pass side wiper when i started drivin and after a quick look into my pants for any thing that may have aclumilated during my seconds of stress i noticed that the noise was gone. It was the damm bug guard all along!!!! but leanncut i liked your idea better...
