Does anyone have a preferred method/product for touching up paint boo-boos?

for me it would depend on how big a boo boo we're talking about. Teeny tiny little speck, I'd most likly put on a good coat of wax and ignore it. Big whopper of a messed up paint job, I'd go find a really good paint guy to repaint the truck.

For really small specs i've always used a toothpick. For the bigger chips, try building up the chip with several coats allowing each one to dry. Hope this helps.

Toothpicks work well as Frank S stated, but you can also try a match from your local hangout. Not the wooden ones, the book matches. They have always worked well for me.

I have the STX model which has the color-keyed bumpers so I always need a nice touch-up from rock chips. I use a guy that does paint touch-up for the dealership and he airsprays the chip and wipes off the overspray with a certain chem. Ask your body shop who they suggest for touch-up work. It is real cheap, $45, and I do it everytime before I wax.

Thumbs up

Go to www.carcareonline.com They explain what sounds to be a good way to do it, sounds like a long process though. I'm gonna follow their directions and try it, I'll let ya know how it turns out.
