Leaky rear window
Rained hard and carpet behind driver's seat is wet in my supercab. Dealer said he's seen this on other F150s. Dealer could not reproduce leak with water hose. I don't have sliding rear window. Anyone else with this problem?
Welcome to the world of F-150. Probably every 97 with a slider has this. now I know you said you don't have a slider but your problem is the same. Only solution is to go an automotive glass shop and have window removed, resealed and put back in. Forget about the dealership.

I discovered the same problem with my '97 extended cab w/rear slider. My leak seemed to be coming from the passenger's side of the rear window. I took it back to the dealer and they "supposedly" re-sealed it. I just got it back Monday. It rained today and so far there are no signs of a leak. I'll know for sure when a "real" storm occurs.
Hey guys i had the same problem - simple fix! remove the rear brake light and squeeze silicone in there and also a little on the outside. if you inspeck the brake light you'll see where you can put the silicone. be liberal with it when you remove the third brakelight. it cost me $3 to fix! it has rained cats and dogs since and never a problem.
