Post Door Switch

Hi
Does anyone know where the door switches are? My "door is ajar" light comes on often and sometimes the interior light will stay on (really sucks at night). I suspect its the door switch, but can not locate them. Are they hard to change?

Thanks
Darren

The door switch is the latch in the door. Maybe your striker needs adjustment. I have run into problems like this before. I don't believe there is really any adjustment, but it will move a hair. The latch mechanism might be bad. Your local dealership should be able to diag. this.

I have the same problem, but only when the cab is hot. Like after I leave it parked in the sun for a while.
I talked to my tech guy and he said that there has been a problem with this since the striker is magnetic.
I'm replacing mine since it's still under warenty. He said that's the only way that will fix it for sure.
