paint cracked on cab roof

Angry paint cracked on cab roof

I just noticed that on my 2002 150 4x4 the channel on top on the cab where the roof and door frame is joined the body filler is cracked and the paint looks like it is going to start pealing.Has anyone else seen this problem????

My '97 is like that and it does indeed look bad. However, it doesn't cause any problems that I know of and hasn't leaked or rusted on my truck. I agree that the cracks are nasty looking but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. My paint hasn't peeled as a result of this.

My 97 Scab is the same way. I guess I kinda lucked up though. I had a branch fall out of a tree that dented my roof, and the repair calls for the dealership to completely repaint the cab of the truck. Maybe this time the paint won't crack. I get repainted next Tuesday.

Sorry i just hate hearing that type of ****!
my 99 f150 had the roof cracks all the way down the seam.
went to the dealer (this year) and they had it completely redone.
the entire roof.
i say go to the dealer and have them fix it.
worst they'll do is say no..
