leaky windshield
well it started today, at least thats when i noticed it. During the rain storm my windshield started dripping on the steering column.
GRRR
so i followed the leak and its runs all the way across the windshield and down the A pillars.
that explains why the truck alway had that damp odour to it.
well called the dealer, my basic warranty expired on the 18th, and the extended warraty doesnt cover leaky window seals. so much for bumper to bumper huh!
well called the 1 800 # in the owners book, after a long discussion with them nope not covered.
ok so i go to get a price on getting the work done .
the guy didnt even come out to look at the truck he said hes done a ton of them, the hole window has to come out though,
around 150 $ to repair what ford should cover im my o2.
the truck is a 99 with 42000 kms on it.
total BS sucker ya into the great sounding extended warranty bumper to **** all type take your money then ha ha ha sucker...

Can't give you any advice, other than get it fixed, and get it fixed rather quick.
I've been running into a buttload of vehicles that have leaky windshields as of late, and the water intrusion is taking out the GEM modules, along with trashing the main fuse panel/assembly.
The longer you wait, the more damage is going to occur, (besides the musty odor, etc, etc).
