snicker removal

Question snicker removal

I know I should have had the dealer do this, but I was so excited to get my knew truck, I totally forgot.....How do I remove the dealers logo on the back of my ride?

Well - if it is just a vinyl sticker like mine was, it is pretty easy. I just parked it in the sun to let it heat up, and it peeled right off.

Let her heat up, then take some strong fishing line and work it back and forth, like a saw, and it should pop right off. I'm going to do this to my truck next time I wax her.

Sticker Removal

It all depends on the sticker. If it is just a sticker let it heat up in the sun and peel it off. If it is a plastic emblem and it won't come off easily with your fingers try using a bondo paddle to push behind it. Once you get the plastic off you can use lighter fluid or some sort of sticker removal compound. After you get all the nasties off wax it. You can also get an eraser wheel that goes on a drill thatbody shops use.
