I purchased one of them Polished Billet Gas Doors, thinking oh this will be a quick 5 minute mod. BOY was I wrong. Two hours and two trips to home depot later and I had a cracked fiber glass fender. The two screws holding the factory gas door were stripped and painted in there. So the first thing I thought of was to take a power drill and drill straight through the screw. Well the first drill bit went half into the first screw and broke! To make a long story short, I was pushing real hard on the fiber glass supports that the two screws were attached to, trying to drill through the darn screws and BAM cracked fiber glass. Anyways, ended up getting the Billet Gas Door on, but may need to replace the entire left side of the bed in the future! My first mod I regret doing!

take this post as a warning for all of you who might go about replacing your gas door!
