Very angry about door cracks in my 99 f150. Just purchased on May 1, 2002. Original warranty ran out on the way home from the dealership. Body shop manager says that they will only repair it under a "good faith warranty" where I pay 20%. I know I purchased a used vehicle "as is", but a design flaw should be covered, period. They won't even do the preventive steps, described on this site, on the other door that has not yet cracked.

 

copy the tsb and take it to fords and show it to the maneger.

 

I'm going to take a crack at getting the doors repaired again. I can't find the TSB any more. Can anyone direct me to where it's at.
