Installing a Honeycomb grille
Can anybody tell me how to install a Honeycomb grille, do you have to remove the whole grille trim piece or can you just remove the grille itself and how difficult a project is this?
p.s it's a 2000 model f-150
Thanks in advance
Dan

I just replaced my silver honeycomb grill with a black one. The whole headlight bezel needs to come off.
Do a search on grille installation. One of the manufacturers put a step by step instruction sheet out for removing the assembly. I forgot the company. It's a bit of a PIA, but can be done with a little patience.

hehe, not trying to impersonate another year. I thought an "arrest me red" truck looked awful with the silver grille. Most of the other 99's I've seen have had black grilles. It might be a Lariat thing, but I think its much nicer with thee dark grille and red paint.
Mlots, I got the black one off of eBay. They pop up from time to time after folks put an aftermarket one on. I personally don't care for any of the billet stuff. I think the black honeycomb looks very good.
