Question Installing a Honeycomb grille

Can anybody tell me how to install a Honeycomb grille, do you have to remove the whole grille trim piece or can you just remove the grille itself and how difficult a project is this?

p.s it's a 2000 model f-150

Thanks in advance
Dan

I just replaced my silver honeycomb grill with a black one. The whole headlight bezel needs to come off.
Do a search on grille installation. One of the manufacturers put a step by step instruction sheet out for removing the assembly. I forgot the company. It's a bit of a PIA, but can be done with a little patience.

Linetest, unless you install a driver's side pull handle, I'm still gonna make you for the 99 you are.

hehe, not trying to impersonate another year. I thought an "arrest me red" truck looked awful with the silver grille. Most of the other 99's I've seen have had black grilles. It might be a Lariat thing, but I think its much nicer with thee dark grille and red paint.

I didn't know that you could purchase an aftermarket honeycomb grill. Is this from a different manufacturer or from Ford?

Thanks.

Mlots, I got the black one off of eBay. They pop up from time to time after folks put an aftermarket one on. I personally don't care for any of the billet stuff. I think the black honeycomb looks very good.

Question

Linetest, did you put your old one on eBay? Those guys with the Lime Green honeycomb think the Silver honeycomb looks very good.
