Hi all
I have a White 2002 F150 Supercab Longbed Got this in Jan. I have noticed that rust or what looks like rust is all over the bed, Roof. doors, everywhere.
When I took this to the dealer they told me it was rail dust?.
From the trains brakes. Has anyone heard of this the truck is going in to the shop to fix this.

Yes, happened to my fiance's white Sport Trac. They used a clay bar to get rid of it all.

 

Yes I heard of it I was lucky as my truck was a convoy delivery so it was on a truck from the factory to my dealership instead of going by rail and then truck.

 

I had this with my 98 truck. Truck is red so I only saw it on the chrome. It came of with vigorous washing.

 

make the dealer send it through their detail shop , it should have been washed cleaned and polished before you even picked it up ... you bought a $30,000 truck from them , get what you paid for !
