Unhappy 3 pane rear window problem

I have a 1998 F150 extended cab Flareside that was sent to LA West to have interior and exterior graphics added. It's a beauty! We have the rear sliding window in it and have 5 cracks in the frame of the window and it leaks. The auto glass company says this is common. Anyone heard of this?

Warranty won't cover it and we are going to try to get Ford to cover some of the costs.

Sorry to hear about your leaky windows KellieLu. Show us a pic of your truck. I'd like to see the graphics you had put on it. Welcome to F-150 online.

I had the same problem with my '97 Lariat. The dealership replaced the entire window, seal, etc. Total cost was $260.00,
including installation. (It was under the extended warranty)
