Quarter panel crack...

There is a crack extending outward from the bottom bolt that connects the quarter panel to the wheel well outward to its inner edge about 2 inches long... (its a flareside). I'm guessing the quarter panels are made out of fibreglass. What would be the best way to repair this crack? I'm guessing I could just fill it with crack filler and paint over it... any other ideas?

my understanding of fiberglas repairs is this...

sand down area to be prepped

affix a fiber sheet over area (available at auto parts stores)

slap on epoxy (up to this point its like doing drywall)

sand, and paint.

Thanks for your input but I think that would be a waste of time since it is not a large crack... just wondering if anybody could recomend some type of crack filler that would work well with fibreglass... Thanks!
