Door Lock Parts, where to get them??

Here is the deal, both my door locks are loose. They actually move around when I put the key in. I tried the WD-40 and it helped the stickiness (sp). I think the truck was broken into before I bought it and the passenger side door handle frame is busted up around the lock (looks like someone jambed a screwdriver in it).
I asked the dealer and they want something like $300 ~ $500 to replace the door locks, frames and all, but then I would have two separate keys...one for the door and one for ignition. Anyone replaced their door locks before? Where can I get the parts to do this myself? I tried oemfordpats.com and came up with nada.

Thanks

you can order the locks and take it to a lock smith along with the damaged parts and they can change the internals of the locks to match the ignition key

If they're anything like VW locks it's not too bad. The lock cylinder is usually fit into the rest of the door handle. There's usually some sort of a clip that holds the cylinder into the handle. You can swap your existing cylinders into new handles. I haven't changed a ford lock though. I'd guess the best place to get another one is from the dealer's parts department.

If that doesn't work see a locksmith with your old locks, new handles.

Have you tried calling the Ford customer service 800 number?

They might be able to point you in the right direction.
