No More Door Crack
I just got my truck back from the dealership today! 
It took six days to fix the crack on my drivers side door and put a preventative patch in the passenger side door, but man was it worth it! The door looks great no more crack and the paint looks good, they even got rid of the gigantic scratch on my door that I got at the car wash. They gave it back washed and waxed, and it cost me $150 dollars plus they gave me a 2002 Explorer to drive around while they were fixing it. I'm just fearful that the crack might reappear, some people were saying that can happen...if it does I will go back and demand a new door!
I'm not the first owner of this truck, so I was suprised that they fixed it and didn't charge me the full amount (all most 1,000). So if anybody has this door crack, no matter what your mileage, I suggest you go to your Ford dealer and demand that they fix it.

I went to Markel Ford by the Westroads.
I love your truck!!! It looks just like mine, same color and I have the silver on my accents too Except I have black Grizzly Double-Bend Nerf Bars and I just got a new set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain TA/KO's...I love em'.
Can't wait till January...we're GOING TO THE ROSE BOWL!!!

Keep an eye on it!
Long story short I had both doors repaired about 4 months ago got my truck on a Fri. Passenger crack was back on Mon. Back in Wed. four days later I got it back again "Fixed" again. On month ago Drivers side crack was back. In the shop for two weeks no loaner this time! Just noticed last week the Passenger side is back and peeking from behind the trim. Haven't caught up with the Svc.Mngr. yet. This is getting old!!

Geeez...what a pain. I hope that doesn't happen to me. I don't think they'll give me a loaner again, they weren't to happy to part with the 02' Explorer.
You should go back and demand new doors, I quess some people have been getting them. In your case its getting really ridiculous! I would definately ask them for new doors this time.
