Pace-Edwards Roll Top for F150
Pace-Edwards Roll Top for F150
Has anyone any experience with roll tops made by Pace-Edward? I believe there are three varieties, one of which is power driven. I considering one for my SuperCrew, but they are expensive. I need some feedback.

I have the manual Roll-Top version. Cost me $650 installed if I recall properly. I have had it now for nearly 2 months and I have never done anything to it other than power wash it and wipe it clean and it still looks brand new.
It is a very useful and secure cover. It has aluminized strips that give the cover its strength and security. It is lockable and has two intermediate stop positions.
the only drawback for some folks, though not me, is that because of the track it operates in and the tray it retracts into, it narrows the bed by about 8 inches total and shortens the usable length of the bed by about the same.
Either way I'd do it again and gives the bed a very clean look and I can secure items in the bed. If you have anymore questions, just ask away.

an option?
I was considering the roll top for my screw. Didn't pick it for two reasons. One, like thefoyboy mentioned, I didn't like the way it took up space in the bed. Second, I have a neighbor who has a roll top on his 150SC that leaks quite a bit after a few years of service.
I went with the Advance cover. Clamshell/hinged in the middle. I can remove in less than 2 minutes by myself and store it in the bed. Paid $500. Installed myself in about 2 hours. Something else to consider. Good luck!
