Question Ft. Windshield surround loose - flappin' in the breeze

Wow, I just realized that in the last few days, my front windshield's rubber surround, on the top edge, was "not in the grove". It was out of it's
grove and lying just above the top of the wind shield. Very strange. I simply re-inserted it and pressed it down. So far so good. I have 50,000 miles on my F-250LD XLT 4x4 SC.

Anyone ever see this happen before? Is my "repair" enough, or do I have to go in the my dealer (and have it 'glued' down)?

Thanks
Frank

My 89 Aerostar did that. I did the same thing a couple times. Last time with a rubber mallet. Finally had to use clear silicone. that held until I needed a new windshield.
