I have a 92 F250 XLT with the standard fold back mirrors mounted on the doors. The mirror is mounted on the U shaped bracket that attaches to the door. The mirror is held on by a single screw (bolt?). that requires a star bit to remove. I have the bit. I have put about as much pressure on the star bit ratchet handle as i think I should and it won't budge. Tried liquid wrench.

Anyone had this problem?

Any suggestions on how to get loose without breaking something.?

how much pressure can I exert?
