Rear window leak

I had the same problem with my 1999 F-150. I took it in to the dealer. They acted as if they knew exactly what the problem was ordered part and installed an entire new back sliding glass and seal. All under warrenty. Actually the new window had a darker tint!

If you still have warranty, let the dealer go for it, I had a leak around my 1997 ec sliding back window, but it wasn't around the glass, it was around the seal, so I put a really thin layer of clear waterproof caulk around it, and smoothed it out so you couldn't tell it was there, and it dried and it has not leaked since, and that was a year and a half ago. Seriously, you cannot even tell that anything was done to it at all, except that it doesn't leak anymore. If it is coming in from around the track of the glass, a lot of times dirt and stuff gets inside the track and causes the glass to be not seated right, and that will cause it to leak. Also, do a search on this, there were a lot of posts and solutions to it 'back in the day'. Good luck!
