I have had my grandfather's truck for a few years now. It has some gem module issues associated with the driver's side windshield leak - only thing I can really tell is the cab light doesn't work .Its been that way since I got it. Electrical shop wanted to replace gem module but it was upwards of $500.00 for the labor and parts.
The roof was rusting a few years ago and I had it painted. I had some issues with water leaking from the headliner at the corner on the driver's side. It drips down onto the corner of the seat, mostly. The body shop worked on it and it stopped leaking but its back now. Before I spend a few hundred dollars on a new windshield I wanted to get some opinions on the gap in the seal on the driver's side door seal. (See pictures below).
One last thing, occasionally when it is very foggy the cabin light will turn on. Any idea what that means for the gem module?
Gap on drivers side between door seal and cab by windshield. Not present on passenger side. Same gap without hand manipulation Same gap different angle. Moisture on rear door
