Signal Mirrors on non-Signal Mirror Truck

How would someone go about utilizing the signal feature on a set of mirrors installed on a non-signal mirror truck? Anybody tried this? Thanks.

Easy peezy, First you need to get the mirrors. After that find out if your truck is prewired for it. If not it's not a big deal. Run 2 new wires to the drivers front wiring harness.
locate the 2 turn signal wires there. Others will tell you to do it under the dash but to be honest it is easier where I said. If you are smart, pop a door panel and see what plug
you have the compare to what you buy. match the plugs up will make it alot easier.

Thanks, 01. Love your truck! What kind of wheels do you have? That's not a factory Ford wheel, is it? What size are they? I still love the '97-'03 models. After all this time I still haven't got really into the '04+ trucks. Love the newer motors, though! Thanks for your help.

Thank you! The wheels are TSW Max 20x10 and the tires are 295/40/20. I added the turn signal mirrors to both my truck and my expedition. The truck was prewired for it so I didn't have to
do a whole lot. The expedition has heated mirrors so I found mirror caps and turn signals and dremeled the housing to fit the new turn signal and the caps mount the same way as non turn
signal mirrors. I then ran a wire to give the turn signal and the power heated mirror had a ground there already. If your truck is a XLT or higher there is good chance it's already wired for it.
