Hey, anyone try cutting as big a pass-thru between cab and camper shell as the guy in this YouTube video? Would it weaken the structure too much? I have a '99 XLT with an ARE fiberglass camper shell. The guy in the video did it for a sound system but I'd be doing it for more room to camp in. Need to use what I've got, no way to get a van right now

Only problem I see is when it rains.

You'd need to fabricate something.

 

Its possible. But I wouldn't want to cut that much material on a daily driver
