Driver Side Window

My 2001 Supercrew driver side window dropped down into the door. I thought it was the common regulator failure, but was wrong. The glass pulled out of the clamps that hold on to the window bottom and attach to the regulator. What kind of glue should I use to reattach them? I tried polyurethane on the recommendation of a body shop employee, but that failed immediately.

I would go to a glass shop. They can fix this for cheap and do it right. They got some glass sealants that would otherwise require you to order it.
