'99 Extended cab & the door light switch did not work, I had tried the solvent cleaning thing to no avail & picked up another mechanism @ the You Yank It.
This is always handy practice, pulling one so you know what to expect when you get in there...Looks like it was way too impractical to buy a new or used latch when the switch failed but I Gotta have my power lock! Looks like some sort of aftermarket kit? No less work was expended doing it that way... Thank God he had that wood screw, maybe part of the kit to allow mounting in that '28 Hupmobile wood door?
New latch is in & everything works
