I got an 08 F150 Lariat and after spending 10k on it for a new motor, i stand infront of a new problem...
There is rust around my fuel door... To get it fixed by a pro it will cost me another 1200.. Wich i dont have right nowextra.

I thought i would sand it, prime it and paint it myself to get ride of the rust and put a aftermarket fuel door on with a wide ring to cover my paint job. The problem is all the once on ebay/other sites dont say the size or anything like that.

Does anyone have one installed and can tell me what brand it is and the outer diameter?
Or any other ideas?

Hello, try searching the site. There are a few things that'll come up regarding this. Also, are you in a place where they spread salt? I've heard water pools behind the door at the bottom causing this. I also have an 08 and live in the salt belt, but do not have this issue at all.

as far as the larger fuel door, I have not seen any that are larger than the opening.
